Supervision Student Therapists / Pre - Accredited / Accredited Therapists & Care Professionals8/13/2018 As much as I enjoy being a Psychotherapist and Lecturer, I thoroughly enjoy my role as a Supervisor. It is part of our ethical practice to ensure we bring our work to supervision. Indeed, it is a stipulation of our governing bodies.
It can be a challenging experience for the Student Therapist as they begin their college’s clinical hours’ requirement. I enjoy being part of the journey that students are about to embark upon; supporting them by providing supervision throughout their college years. The Pre-Accredited Therapist, having completed the educational aspect of their Psychotherapy career now begin their governing body’s clinical requirement towards accreditation. I offer a supporting supervision space while they make this transition. The Accredited Therapist requires supervision as they build their practice. It is an exciting time having achieved qualifications and accreditation. I believe my supervision can support their practice development experience as well as their case work concerns. There are many Care Professionals outside the counselling world who can benefit from clinical supervision. I offer this support and find it can be very beneficial to have outside support with an external supervisor like myself. If you require further information about by Supervision service, please have a look at the relevant page on my website. You also may contact me by telephone or email as I am happy to discuss with you your supervision requirements. Clodagh Monaghan MIACP, Post Grad. Dip. Supervision

T : 086 8034888 E : hello@clodaghmonaghancounselling.ie W : www.clodaghmongahancounselling.ie I am an Accredited Therapist & Supervisor working in Dublin and I am in the fortunate position to offer my counselling service both sides of the River Liffey.
In Dublin 2, my rooms are in very close proximity to St Stephen’s Green with the convenience of the Luas, Dublin Bus & ample parking facilities nearby. Across the river, my Dublin 7 rooms are in Phibsborough, a stone’s throw from the Mater Hospital. The new Luas extension is practically on my doorstep as is Dublin Bus with parking right outside the front door. I believe that qualifications and experience in the counselling profession are not enough to ensure best practice. It also about the therapeutic space provided to the client/supervisee. Please see below relevant quotes from my website reflecting my ethos. “I create a safe place where you can feel heard and your experiences acknowledged and valued rather than judged. I understand that it is difficult to reveal all to someone you don’t know yet so I am patient and will go at your pace.” “Whatever is happening to you right now is your experience, it is relevant in your life therefore it is important.” “Please ignore the myth that the counsellor sits there and says nothing. I will encourage you to speak and explore your thoughts, feelings and coping behaviours regarding the issues you have brought to counselling.” I work with the many different issues that people may be experiencing. I like to work with an integrative holistic approach. This means that I incorporate all dimensions of my clients … mind, body and spirit. I understand that what might be helpful for one person might not necessary suit another. My counselling approach can meet your unique needs and bring about the desired changes in your life. I look forward to meeting you. Please contact me for an appointment Tel : 086 8034888 Email : hello@clodaghmonaghancounselling.ie It is with great pleasure that I launch my own website.
In the world of counselling the word, Practice, is a noun but more importantly it is a verb. My personal & professional journey has brought me to this wonderful destination of knowing who I am as a therapist and how I want to work with my clients. My therapeutic focus is holistic in nature, integrating all the dimensions of my clients; mind body and spirit. I am passionate about the therapeutic relationship between my clients and myself. I respect the enormity for someone taking the first step to attend counselling. It is my promise to you that I will facilitate this transition for you by providing a friendly, compassionate and safe environment. Clodagh Monaghan MIACP B.Sc. (Hons), Dip.
